THE PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS MAN

Babylon has fallen to Persia and Daniel is part of the governmental transition team. Now in his early 80s, and reading the writings of Jeremiah, Daniel knows the seventy year captivity is nearing an end. In response, he prayers on behalf of his people in a spirit of contrition and confession that God would fulfill His promise and restore His people and city which lay in desolation.
