THE MARK OF A TRUE DISCIPLE

Claiming to be a disciple of Jesus is one thing. Proving to be a disciple is quite another. In John 8, Jesus challenges would-be followers with the primary mark of a true disciple and later instructs his followers as to how that distinguishing characteristic is both developed and manifested through the illustration of the Vine and Branches.
