SUFFERING IS NOT THE FINAL WORD

Peter has already encouraged us to endure suffering after the pattern and example of Jesus (2:21-25). But now Peter calls us to look beyond Christ's suffering to His exaltation, and to discover that Christ's Ascension as well as His Atonement has significance for our suffering. May Jesus' Victorious Announcement and Ascension encourage us to know that suffering does not have the final word.
