MY EYES HAVE SEEN THY SALVATION

The birth of Jesus has already taken place. The shepherds have come and gone. The official naming of the child on the eighth day along with the circumcision has been completed. It is now time for the rite of purification and act of dedication as the child is brought to the temple. And here Joseph and Mary encounter a unique man who has received a unique promise that finds its fulfillment at this precise moment.
