Galatians 4:4-7 provides us with one of the most succinct summaries of the Incarnation of Jesus in all of the Scriptures. The moment, manner and mission of His coming is powerfully presented. In this second of two sermons on this text, we note how the sending of the Spirit is intimately and inseparably linked with the sending of the Son. For Jesus came not only to redeem us from sin but also to adopt us as sons.
